Do you know where your merchants are?
Newly implemented guidelines require additional information on a merchant’s basic location. A merchant account lacking an address upon checkout may suggest illegal activity. By including outlet locations, acquirers have a better view into their merchants and consumers are better protected.
Join G2 for a 30-minute webinar on merchant outlets and why they matter to you.
G2 Web Services has created Merchant Outlet Check to help acquirers comply with these new guidelines. Merchant Outlet Check manages your existing merchant portfolio and does the following:
- Verify your merchant’s transaction country is displayed in the checkout process
- Checks for mismatches between the transaction country and the merchant/acquirer jurisdictions
- Confirms an acceptable cardholder correspondence address is listed on the website
- Highlights any merchants in exceptional categories, such as travel-related merchants or digital goods merchants
